On Wednesday during 2nd period, Middle School and Senior High students and staff will have group pictures taken for the 2023-24 Weston yearbook. May 1, 2024 Dear Weston Families, Today we were made aware of an active shooter situation in the Mount Horeb School community. Although we are not aware of the details, we want you to know that whenever a situation like this occurs in our schools we are on heightened alert. At Weston we have been trained and have implemented the Standard Response Protocol from the “I Love You Guys Foundation”. We are providing the Standard Response Protocol you should know as a parent/guardian of one or more of our students. Our thoughts are with the Mount Horeb community as they process the traumatic events of today. We ask you to talk with your child about the school safety drills that we practice here so everyone can become more familiar with them and know the importance of what to do in any emergency situation.
