Today, the Weston School District practiced their monthly fire drill. At the time of the drill, the fire alarm was activated. Upon hearing the fire alarm, all students and staff walked in a quiet, organized manner to the nearest exit. Assigned staff members completed a sweep of the school to ensure it was empty, and once the school was cleared, the all clear was announced, and all students and staff reentered the building. Weston School District uses monthly drills to ensure that all students and staff know what to do in the event of an actual emergency.
