Today, March 3rd, 2025, Weston School District practiced a fire drill as part of their ongoing safety plan. Upon hearing the alarms, students and staff exited the building in an organized and quiet manner. Designated staff known as sweepers walked through the building checking to ensure that all students and staff members had exited the building. Students and staff waited in the designated safety areas until all clear was called by the sweeper staff. At this time students and staff members reentered the school.
Weston School District conducts monthly practice drills to ensure that, in the event of a real situation, the students and staff know what to do. Thank you.
